Established in 1998, Alamo Acupuncture offers acupuncture therapy and traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine. Acupuncture is one of the most widely recognized and successful methods of alternative treatment in the world. Its effectiveness in treating a wide variety of disorders has been clinically proven by many distinguished researchers. Not only is it safe, but it does not cause any of the toxic side effects associated with traditional medicines.
Experience the benefits of a practice where the patient is the top priority
In Dr. Bill (Yao Chung) Tseng’s practice, acupuncture and herbal healing meet leading edge Western medical science. Few doctors offer this blend of disciplines to combat the effects of today’s frantic pace. With a complete knowledge of the central nervous system, and using traditional instruments, Dr. Tseng ends chronic pain through the exacting science of acupuncture. As an herbalist, he uses recipes from ancient Eastern tradition, compounding medications from over 400 hand-selected herbs. Dr. Tseng selects and grinds medications that boost the power of the immune system. These natural herbs are all tailor made for each individual. The powders help the body’s natural ability to heal.
In straightforward but compassionate discussion, Dr. Tseng explains precisely the course of treatment he feels is required. There are no unanswered questions. He is straightforward about what he will need to do, for how long, what it will feel like, and what it will cost. No treatment begins until the patient knows precisely what will take place, and what results to expect.
"If you’re in pain, just try it once!"
Dr. Tseng’s confident, compassionate manner allows him to build a rapport with all those who come to him for treatment. This is the warm, personalized treatment patients rarely find in practices oriented strictly toward the bottom line. No wonder, then, that Dr. Tseng has been rewarded with the loyalty of patients who return to him time and again.
You owe it to yourself to become one of them.
Dr. Bill Tseng (Yao Chung) learned the ancient techniques of acupuncture from his uncle in Taiwan from 1974-1977. It wasn’t until 1998 after he graduated from The Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Austin, TX) that he opened this thriving San Antonio acupuncture clinic. Dr. Bill is known for his extremely honest and direct approach to acupuncture. His warm and fun attitude create a pleasant and relaxed environment for his patients.
